The Mother of God of Vladimir, also known as Notre-Dame of Vladimir, or the Virgin of Vladimir, and Vladimirskaïa, is one of the most celebrated icon in Russia.
The Virgin of Vladimir is considered like the holy protector of Russia. The icon can be found in the Trétiakov gallery in Moscow ( Saint Nicolas of Tolmatchi’s church – Museum annexe)
Its celebration day is June the 3rd.
